The beautiful marker stone for the Pathway of Memories stands like a sentry over the 527 donated memory stones located at the front of OPP General Headquarters in Orillia.

On a sunny September morning a large gatherings of OPP members, veterans and friends witnessed the 2023 dedication ceremony of the newest donated memory stones.
The site is enhanced with box hedges and the installation of a bench, a generous donation from the Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council.
Each day the Pathway of Memories is witness to visitors and members making time to reflect on the messages and names inscribed on the stones.
The inscriptions on the memory stones donated by members, friends and colleagues reflect expressions of pride, friendships, love and careers… creating lasting memories.
The funds raised are used to provide funding for our support of youth in need across the province.
The site will accommodate more memory stones for many years to come and we continue to accept donations for new Memory Stones that will be installed on the site in the fall of 2024.
