A little rider on Manitoulin is loving her brand-new bike helmet, thanks to the Ride for Marc Hovingh. Mom says she refuses to take it off, and we couldn’t be happier to hear it! Frontenac
Hello I wanted to thank you for your assistance in helping us OPP – Frontenac Officers / Auxiliaries / Civilians to promote a little of the Christmas Spirit and foster the positive relationships with our youth, by being in the public eye in a positive light. We handed out candy and activity books along the route. Officers in full uniform approached spectators along the way to make the image of an officer less intimidating and more trusting, friendly. Too often we are perceived by Children to only be at a location “ because somebody is in trouble”. Officers work long hours to change that perception. I’ve included the receipts and some pictures.
